Two Seward Residents Arrested For Driving With License Revoked And Permitting Unauthorized Person To Drive

Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a green Ford pickup truck for an equipment violation near the intersection of the Seward Highway and Dieckgraff Road. This happened on Wednesday around 5:00 p.m., according to the online trooper dispatch.

 

An investigation revealed 51-year-old Francine Wannquist-Chisum of Seward was driving on a revoked license with no motor vehicle liability insurance. Wannquist-Chisum has multiple prior convictions for driving with a revoked license.

 

A further investigation revealed 46-year-old Deanne Moore of Seward had knowledge and allowed Wannquist-Chisum to drive with a revoked license as she was a passenger.

 

Wannquist-Chisum was arrested and transported to Seward Community Jail for charges of driving while license is revoked and no motor vehicle liability insurance. Moore was arrested and transported to the Seward Community Jail for the charge of permitting unauthorized person to drive.

 

The Ford pickup truck was released to a responsible third party.
