Update 6/12/2024 – 9:37 a.m.
The Alaska State Troopers received a call about a single-vehicle rollover near mile 165 of the Sterling Highway on June 11th, 2024, at approximately 8:40 p.m.
The driver was pinned under the truck.
Alaska State Troopers, Homer Police Department, and Kachemak Emergency Services responded to the scene and were able to extricate the driver.
The driver was flown to Anchorage due to his injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing.

A vehicle accident at mile 165.5 of the Sterling Highway has shut down the road in both directions near Dibble Creek Rock Road.
The accident is a few miles North of Homer. Emergency vehicles are in the area.
An alert from Alaska 511 estimates the highway will reopen at 12:30 AM.
