There are still time slots available for volunteers to help with the 8th annual St. Jude Radiothon at KSRM’s studios on K-Beach Road that begins Thursday morning at 6 am.
Michelle Partridge volunteered for the 2015 phone bank where over $46,000 was raised.
Partridge: “Just love for children and several families that I know who’ve had children affected by cancer. So just want to do everything that we can to help support St. Jude because it’s just a wonderful program.”
One hundred percent of the funds go straight to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee for them to continue the research and treatment of kids with catastrophic diseases including cancer and other illnesses.
The radiothon begins Thursday, April 14 and goes through Friday, April 15.
Volunteers are still needed both mornings. To get involved, call KSRM at 283-8700 and listen to KWHQ 100.1 FM on April 14th and 15th.
