The Kenai Peninsula Job Center is hosting two big employers today according to Program Manager Jackie Garcia…
Garcia: “Fred Meyer is in here from 10 am – 2 pm, having a recruitment fair, they are looking for a variety of positions: bakery, courtesy clerks, home, produce, barista, jewelry, cashiers, food, and pharmacy. And we also have Walgreens in here continuing to look for applicants.”
As we previously reported, retailers are having trouble filling open spots due to applicants failing pre-hire requirements such as drug tests and background checks.
