A pair of Soldotna High School senior hockey players signed national Letters of Intent to play collegiate hockey at Brigham Young University.

Dylan Walton and Josh Tree both signed their national letters of intent to play hockey at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. The Cougars play in the Mountain West Collegiate Hockey League within Division II of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).
Walton was a 4-year varsity letter winner for the Stars who earned 1st team all-conference honors this past season. He led the team in assists and was amongst the team leaders in overall points.
Tree was a 2-year varsity letter winner for SoHi and played a big role in the net during the 2019-2020 season when the Stars finished second at the state tournament.
