State Troopers netted another wanted man this week after stopping a crumbling camper on Holt-Lamplight Rd.
Officers were called close to 2pm Monday with a report that a camper was falling apart and leaving debris along the road. Troopers found the camper, which was being towed by another vehicle. They spoke to one man who gave a false name and date of birth.
After investigation, officers identified the man as 45-year-old Christopher McCoy of Nikiski. McCoy was wanted on two outstanding warrants for Burglary 1 and Theft 2.
A scuffle prevented McCoy from being immediately arrested, but after a short fight, McCoy was taken into custody. He was remanded to Wildwood Pre-Trial Facility without bail for the two warrants, Providing False Information, and Resisting Arrest.
