The Wasilla Warrior hockey entered the North Star Conference hockey tournament as the #3 seed; the Warriors exit with the championship trophy and a ticket to the 4A hockey state tournament.
Wasilla defeated Colony 4-3 in the NSC championship game on Saturday at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex, rallying from a two-goal deficit in the second period.
Wasilla and Colony will represent the North Star Conference at the ASAA Division ! Hockey Tournament scheduled for Thursday through Saturday, February 8-10 at the Menard Arena in Wasilla.
