Wildlife Troopers Looking For Person Who Shot And Left Bull Moose

Alaska Wildlife Troopers are on the lookout for the person or persons responsible for killing a bull moose and then failing to salvage the kill in Ninilchik on Sunday.

 

According to the AST dispatch on the incident, Soldotna Wildlife Troopers received a report that a bull moose was shot and left on Brody Road off of Oil Well Road in Ninilchik.

 

No attempts to salvage the moose were made.

 

Following their initial investigation, Troopers determined that the moose was taken around 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.

The moose was donated to a charity.
