A Wildwood inmate has been hospitalized for life-threatening injuries.
Around 3:50 pm Tuesday, Alaska State Troopers were notified by Wildwood Correctional Center Staff in Kenai that two inmates were involved in an assault.
One inmate was transported to Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna and then medevaced to Anchorage for his life threatening injuries.
Neither of the inmate identities were released.
Soldotna Troopers’ Bureau of Investigation is investigating the attack.
