The National Weather Service in Anchorage has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6:00 p.m. this evening from Kenai south to Homer.
Mixed precipitation is forecast along the Sterling Highway between Soldotna and Homer with trace ice accumulations possible. Up to one inch of additional snow accumulation is also forecast under this advisory.
Plan on slippery road conditions this afternoon/evening with the greatest chances for any ice accumulations along the Sterling Highway between Soldotna and Homer.
