The Ninilchik Wolverines dominated the Warriors from Effie Kokrine School 77-35 in the championship game at the 2A Interior Conference Basketball Tournament on Friday at Tok High School.
The Wolverines advance to the ASAA 2A State Basketball Championships scheduled for March 16-19 in Anchorage. Ninilchik opted-up to the 2A classification in 2022 and have recorded a 23-0 overall record against competition for all divisions of Alaska basketball.

The Wolverine boys overpowered the Warriors from the opening tip building a 32-3 lead in the first quarter–Game Over!
Five Ninilchik players scored in double-figures led by Cole Moore with 22 points; Lukah Kalugin scored 20, Landon Colburn added 13, Jaylin Scott & Justin Trail each scored 10 points.
