State wrestling tournaments in three different divisions open two-day championship events with regional state qualifiers competing at Division I, Division II and Girls Division beginning on Friday, May 21st.
The ASAA State Wrestling Championships will be contested at Bartlett High School for Division I Boys and at Chugiak High School for Division II Boys and for the Girls Division.
The first four rounds, including the championship semi-finals are scheduled for Friday, May 21st and the consolation and championship rounds are scheduled for Saturday, May 22nd.
The Soldotna Stars wrestle in Division I, based on school enrollment. Kenai, Nikiski and the rest of the Kenai Peninsula wrestle in Division II. The Girls Division incorporates all classifications.
