Homer Electric Association is responding to a large power outage mainly effecting over 1,500 members in the Forest Lane and Scout Lake Loop.

HEA crews are on-site and making repairs to restore power to the effective members.
Earlier Saturday, crews responded to a large outage in the K-Beach area effecting 3,862 members and another 2,687 members in the Soldotna area. Power was restored around 2:30 p.m.
