Charlie Pierce’s resignation as Kenai Peninsula Borough Mayor will become effective at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022.

The family will release more information on the social media page at a later time.

The City Manager wrote that the changes will better meet the needs of the Finance and HR functions of the city and more effectively support other city departments.

Evidence at the residence suggested that the death was suspicious in nature.

Dunleavy said, “Anytime you have a social engineering approach that’s forced conversion off of energy such as fossil fuels, it doesn’t make sense, and you know it’s going to have a difficult time actually becoming what they think it is.”

The intent for purchasing this tract of land is to alleviate the traffic issue at the intersection with the Sterling Highway given that it records some of the highest levels of traffic on the Kenai Peninsula.

The Congresswoman-elect will travel to D.C. this weekend and remain there after her swearing in ceremony with the House scheduled to be in session the entire week.
