The Stars vs Comets game, originally scheduled for Crater High School in Central Point, Oregon, will be re-located to Crescent City, California on Friday.  The game will be played at Del Norte High School.  The game time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Alaska time.  Crescent City is located on the Northern California coast about 110 miles from Central Point, Oregon and an extra 2 1/2 hour drive each way for fans.

The change of venue has been made necessary due to poor air quality caused by wildfires throughout Southern Oregon.

Soldotna will look to extend its current 52-game consecutive win streak with a contest against the 5A Oregon football division Comets.  The Comets won the 2015 Midwestern League championship.  Crater High School has a student enrollment of nearly 1600 students, over twice the size of Soldotna High School.

Nikiski vs Voznesenka @ Homer High School   1:00 p.m.  Saturday   KSRM 920 AM and www.radiokenai.com

The Nikiski Bulldogs travel to Homer High School for a conference game against Voznesenka on Saturday, September 2nd.  Game time scheduled for 1:00 p.m.  The Bulldogs look for a second divisional win following a victory at Ketchikan last week.

Kenai Kardinals vs Eagle River @ Eagle River   2:00 p.m.  Saturday  ESPN 1140AM and www.radiokenai.com

The Kardinals face a Northern Lights Conference opponent on Saturday, on the road at Eagle River.  Kenai comes off a shut out of the Juneau Crimson Bears; Eagle River upset Dimond High in week three.
