While many students are getting ready to pursue higher education, it can be daunting to figure out how to pay for schooling. Luckily for those individuals, the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce is providing some scholarship opportunities to make life a little easier.
The Soldotna Chamber is offering nine scholarships this year, which is a total of $21,000.
Through this current program, different scholarships can be awarded to different individuals based on what they’re searching for regarding higher education.
- Two awards will be given to high school seniors under the High School Senior Scholarship,
- Two awards to high school seniors under the Vera Howarth Memorial Scholarship,
- One award to a current college or trade school student under the Rosie Reeder Continuing Education Scholarship, and
- Four awards under our new Community Cares CTE Scholarship. This scholarship is for those registered or planning to attend a career or technical education institution, training, or certification program.
This scholarship opportunity opened up back in November of 2023, but closes in March. Although it’s close, there’s still time to register!
The application deadline is Friday, March 22nd, 2024 by 5pm!
