HEA Finishing Up Efforts To Restore All Power To Its Members

Author: KSRM News Desk |

As off 11:00 am today, Saturday February 8th, HEA crews are finishing up restoration work on the Kenai Peninsula following yesterday’s wind storm.

As of this morning, there are approximately 60 homes still without power and crews expect to have those homes back on line by the end of the day.

On the south side of Kachemak Bay, the Gerry Willard Generation Plant is providing power to Nanwalek, Port Graham, and Seldovia.  HEA crews plan to patrol the main power line in that area today and determine what repairs need to be made.  HEA would like to thank its members for their patience as crews worked over the past two days to restore power.

If you do not have power, please call 1-888-8 OUTAGE to report the outage to HEA.
