The Soldotna Star wrestling program lead the peninsula with seven place-winners and one individual champion at the annual Lancer Smith Memorial Wrestling Tournament held at Palmer High School.
SoHi’s Amanda Wylie topped the field in the girls varsity 160-pound weight class, recording four pins en route to the individual 160-pound title. The SoHi boys were lead by a 2nd-place finish for Sean Babitt in the 171-pound weight class.
Top-6 Soldotna finishers also include: Trinity Donovan, 5th at girls 160 lbs.; Dennis Taylor, 3rd at 152 lbs.; Zach Burns, 4th at 140 lbs.; Max Rogers, 4th at 285 lbs.; Ezekiel Miller, 5th at 119 lbs.
