The Senate Resources Committee heard a status update on the Alaska LNG Project from Enalytica on the afternoon of January 28.
Janak Mayer with Enalytica went over the project structure and stated ownership may change several times over the course of the project.
He added that if the state ended up deciding not to sign a firm transportation services agreement with TransCanada but instead decided to have its own share of the pipeline, it would be on the hook for substantially more.
Mayer also looked forward to the next 12-18 months of the project.
He presented the five categories as:
1. Technical Work Stream
2. Commercial Issues and Agreements
3. Organizational Structures and Agreements
4. Fiscal Issues
5. Regulatory Process
