Alaska’s U.S. congressional delegation is wishing everyone the merriest of Christmas.

Junior U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan is visiting the Kenai Peninsula for the holidays.

U.S. Sen. Sullivan: “I want to wish everybody a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, for those that celebrated Channuka, Happy Channuka. Certainly I know that we’re all keeping our military members, men and women serving overseas, protecting us, sacrificing, risking their lives, in our thoughts and prayers over the holidays because they’re not home with families, they’re not blessed the way we are to be home, they’re keeping us safe. And I just want to let everybody know what an honor it is to serve as your senator.”

Senator Lisa Murkowski recorded a greeting while ringing Salvation Army bells in Anchorage.
