Yoga For Cancer @ YogaSol
May 3 @ 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

Have you had a cancer diagnosis? Join us for a FREE 6 session course to support your body, mind and soul. With the stress and anxiety of a cancer diagnosis, it is in movement and relaxation where we can find the healing process. The first step is to breathe and the next is to join us for a six session yoga course to start your recovery. Classes will be held every Friday beginning April 12th. Space is limited, Pre-registration is required by Tuesday, April 9th.

Soldotna Elementary Kindergarten Round-Up @ Soldotna Elementary
May 3 @ 3:30 pm – 4:15 pm

Soldotna Elementary is having a Kindergarten Round-up on May 3rd from 3:30pm to 4:15pm.  This is an opportunity to meet our kindergarten teachers to find out what happens in a typical kindergarten day.  They can answer any questions you may have.  Students should be pre-registered before attending.

This sunny, funny, international smash hit sensation unfolds on a Greek island paradise when, on the eve of her wedding, a young woman’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited twenty years ago.  A jukebox musical based on the hits of ABBA, Mamma Mia will have you singing along!

Lego Day @ Kenai Community Library

The Kenai Community Library is looking for Lego builders for this year’s Brick by Brick show! Display your very own custom Lego sculpture (no kits) and compete for the title of “Best in Brick!” Simply build, then drop your sculpture off at the library between April 22nd and 28th. An opening reception will be held on April 29th, and the next week the community will vote on who is Best in Brick!

Grow your gardening knowledge by participating in this webinar series! If you are unable to attend at home, come to the Soldotna Library to watch! Kenai Peninsula Cooperative Extension Service agent Casey Matney will teach a series of 11 gardening webinars to help get your garden ready for this year. The free classes will be held online via Zoom at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, from March 19 to May 28.
Topics include seed starting, soil testing, raised beds, planting potatoes, hardening off seedlings and transplanting them, as well as composting. Can’t make the class when it’s live? Preregister and you will be sent a link to watch the video later.
