The Railbelt Conference hockey schedule for the Soldotna Stars and the Kenai Kardinals opens with both teams facing-off against the Homer Mariners; the Stars at home on Friday at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex and the Kardinals on the road in Homer on Saturday at the Kevin Bell Arena.
Soldotna High School hosts the Mariners on the SRSC ice on Friday with a scheduled 4:30 p.m. drop of the puck. SoHi and Homer battled last Friday at the End of the Road tournament in Homer with the Mariners stealing a 4-3 overtime victory.
On Saturday, the Kenai Kardinals face the Mariners on Homer’s home ice in a noon conference contest.
