The first of the “Big 3” cross country running events for Kenai Peninsula schools, the Kenai Peninsula Borough Cross Country Running Championships, is scheduled for Thursday, September 22nd in Homer on the Homer Spit course.
All high school runners are eligible for the borough competition with racing beginning Thursday at 2:30 p.m.

- 2:30 – Boys JV
- 3:15 – Girls JV
- 4:00 – Boys Varsity
- 4:45 – Girls Varsity
- 5:15 – awards (top 10 in JV, top 10 in Varsity)
Upcoming Championships
The Region III Cross Country Running Championships, set for Saturday, October 1st, will be hosted by Soldotna High School on the Tsalteshi Trails at Skyview Middle School.
The ASAA State Cross Country Running Championships are scheduled for Saturday, October 8th at Bartlett High School in Anchorage.
