The Nikiski Bulldog football team defeated Seward 48-22 on Friday to secure the Denali Conference championship with a 2-0 record and secure the only state berth from the conference to the Division III ASAA state football playoffs.
Nikiski 48 – Seward 22
Nikiski controlled the ball and the clock throughout the Bulldogs 48-22 victory against the Seahawks with a ground game lead by a 200+ rushing day for Dwyght Mullins, including three long rushing touchdowns. The Bulldogs lead 16-8 at the half and extended to a 32-8 lead after three quarters. Each team scored twice in the final quarter for the 48-22 final.
