Cook Inlet Wins State Co-Ed Soccer Championship

Cook Inlet Academy completed and undefeated run through the Borealis Conference championships, and the regular season, an the Eagles were crowned the 2022 ASAA Borealis Conference Champions on Saturday in Palmer.

 

Cook Inlet wins the fall co-ed soccer championship with a 3-0 shutout of Tri-Valley in Saturday’s Borealis Conference championship game.

Noah Castenholz scored a three-goal, hat trick and Abe Henderson added two assists as the Eagles recorded a second-straight shutout victory (CIA defeated Su-Valley 3-0 in the semi-final game on Friday).  The Eagles defense allowed only a single goal in three tournament matches and outscored their opponents 13-1 for the state championship.

In the third-place game, Delta downed Su-Valley 6-2.
