Kenai River Falls 5-1 To Wranglers In NAHL Showcase

The Kenai River Brown Bears fell 5-1 to the Amarillo (Texas) Wranglers on Thursday at the North American Hockey League Showcase in Blaine, Minnesota, allowing four unanswered goals after tying the game at 1-1.

The Brown Bears lone goal was scored by Hayden Walters on a power play.  Walters recorded his third goal in just two Kenai River games. Nils Wallstrom recorded 33 saves for the Brown Bears.

 

The Brown Bears continue play at the NAHL Showcase with a face-off against the Philadelphia Rebels on Friday at 8:30 a.m. Alaska Time and a final game set for Saturday at 6:30 a.m. Alaska Time against the Lone Star Brahmas from Texas.
