The Soldotna Stars continue to improve on the court; SoHi recording a 3-1 victory on the road in Homer on Tuesday in non-conference volleyball action.

Noah Castenholz finished with 3 goals, Abe Henderson with  a pair, and Jeremiah Dillingham provided an offensive burst on the field coming out of the goal in the second half to add a goal and an assist. The Colony girls and boys teams swept the Kenai Invitational Swim Meet held on Friday and Saturday in the Kenai Pool.

The Houston Hawks dominated both the offensive and defensive line powering the Hawks to a 40-6 victory over the Kenai Kardinals on Saturday at KCHS.

The Homer Mariners rallied for a 46-36 Division III football road victory over the Nikiski Bulldogs.

SoHi’s defense records four turnovers, including a fumble recovery for a touchdown in the first half against Wasilla.
